“Year after year, we are inspired by the stories shared about our Women Of Worth honorees whose kindness and selflessness are exhibited by the positive change they’ve made within their communities,” said Women of Worth ambassador and L’Oreal Paris brand spokesperson, actress Lea Michele. “I’m proud to be part of this movement that honors amazing women and, by doing so, helps to motivate others to take action.”
I’ll never understand why so many people call Lea an attention seeking fame whore and even accuse her of fake dating for publicity when she’s one of the very few cast members who don’t regularly attend the most random parties and events that promote the most random things. (Note: I don’t criticize or bash them, I’d do the same if I got paid for it.) Chord, Mark, Dianna, Naya (I don’t think I ever saw her doing this until a few months ago, now she’s everywhere with her bf) and even some of the new cast members like Becca are seen at premieres, openings, big Hollywood parties without people making a big deal about it. I think Kevin, Naya and Vanessa etc once even promoted the hotel they were staying at on Twitter when they were on vacation together.
It’s like Lea’s the only one not allowed to talk about her boyfriend, post pictures, tell us where she is and what she’s doing at the moment without being attacked. Jenna, who has known Lea for 18 years, even called Lea “never one to sell out” in her book!!!
Ugh, I really hate these double standards.
